A collection of handcrafted ceramic plates, dedicated to the figure who represents unpredictability and recklessness in playing cards.
Jolly, Joker, Fool… Different names identify the card that can replace any other, or is an exception to the rules of the game.
Joker collection is composed by a large serving plate and nine small plates, combined in different sets.
The serving plate is decorated with a constellation of small, ever-changing symbols that accompany the joker cards. The images of the Jokers depicted on each small plate derive from decks of vintage cards from different countries, and each underline a characteristic of the character: the mephistophelic beard, the sincere look, the femininity, the poor clothes. Everyone smiles!
Joker collection was created by PiattoUnico in collaboration with the event planner Serena Barbieri for creating a special and unexpected mise en place.
